Terms of service

These terms apply to services provided by Shop With Theresa. By submitting a request, paying an invoice or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Our service
Shop With Theresa acts as a personal shopper and international forwarding service. We source and purchase products from UK retailers on your instructions, inspect received items and arrange international delivery. We do not manufacture the products or control retailer stock, product quality, pricing, packaging, order processing or courier performance.

Requests, quotes and payment
A request is not an order confirmation. We will send a personalised quote or shopping invoice after reviewing your request. Shopping begins only after the shopping invoice is paid. Product availability, retailer prices, exchange rates and UK retailer delivery charges can change before purchase. If a material change is needed, we will contact you before proceeding where reasonably possible.

Service fees and delivery invoices
Standard shopping carries a 15% service fee, minimum USD 10. Find It For Me carries a 20% service fee, minimum USD 15. International delivery is not included in the shopping invoice. Once items are received, inspected and packed, we weigh the shipment and issue a separate international delivery invoice. Your parcel is shipped only after this separate delivery invoice is paid. All prices and invoices are in USD unless we confirm otherwise.

Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate product links, sizes, colours, quantities, delivery details, phone number and any GPS or local address details required for delivery. You are responsible for ensuring requested items are lawful to import into your destination country. You must not request prohibited, restricted, counterfeit, unsafe or illegal items.

Retailer, customs and courier matters
Retailers and couriers are independent parties. Shop With Theresa cannot guarantee retailer stock, exact dispatch times, retail packaging, product fit or manufacturer quality. You are the importer of record and are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges and local requirements. Delivery estimates are not guarantees; international delivery is typically estimated at 1 to 4 weeks after the international delivery invoice is paid.

Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Once a retailer purchase has been placed, changes, cancellations and returns depend on the retailer's rules. The customer is responsible for the cost of sending an item back and sending any replacement or returned item out again, including applicable delivery, duty, tax and retailer fees.

Limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shop With Theresa is not liable for indirect losses, retailer errors, customs decisions, courier delays, loss or damage after courier handover, or costs caused by incorrect customer information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
